Now let's meet our experienced staff members so you can put a name with the face.

Meet Shani, she has been working with Dr. Katz since July 1999 (when Dr. Young was here). In Shani's years at our practice she has accomplished many of her goals and is always learning new things so she can give the best advice possible. She is married and has a wonderful son, 1 dog, 2 cats and a horse.

 Lisa is our part time technician.  She started here over 7 years ago and has been an integral part of our practice ever since. Lisa has 8 English Mastiffs, a pug, 24 chickens, 2 cockatiels 1 duck and many fish. She has been breeding Mastiffs for over 27 years , thanks to her we have incorporated the raw diet in our practice.  In her spare time she gardens, visits nurseries and is an avid gun collector. She has been married for 20 + years.



 Kelly, our technician assistant/kennel manager, has been with Stuart Animal Hospital for about 3 years.  She is a native of Florida (one of the few!).  She is a full time student at IRSC.  Kelly loves all animals and rendevous part time as an in-home dog sitter for select clients. She has 4 siblings (some of which also work here part time!) and loves to travel.

   This is Leo.  You will sometimes see him running around the hospital trying to escape from the Kennel Manager, Kelly.  Leo is a young, neutered male who came to us 2 years ago.  He enjoys hunting, playing with Gateway and eating lunch with the rest of the staff (Whether they like it or not!).


  This is Gateway, who acquired his name from the computer company due to his markings!  Gateway has been with us for about 9 years now.  You will most likely see him in our waiting room ready to greet you and your pet (If he wakes up!).  He enjoys hunting, taking long naps on the counter and sitting in the laps of waiting clients.

  This is the infamous Pinky.  Some of you may already have her as one of your Facebook friends.  If not add her today!  You can find Pinky under the name "Pinky SAH."  She came to us about 2 years ago.  Pinky is very friendly (Since her spay), and loves hay, yogurt drops and spending afternoons basking in the sun.


  This is Angel.  Angel is our full time receptionist. She started with us in December 2005.  She is married with 1 daughter!  She is also the proud parent of 3 dogs, 3 cats and 1 rat.  She and her family live in Port St. Lucie.  She has worked in the veterinary field for over 7 years.


 Meet Kim, she joined our team in November 2005 as one of our receptionists. She relocated to Florida from New England, where she worked at a large animal hospital for 8 years. During that time she was also involved in Greyhound rescue. She enjoys traveling with her son Lucas, snow skiing, hiking and snorkeling. She has 2 cats and 2 dogs. 



 Meet Tammi. She is a certified veterinary technician who has worked in the field for over 15 years. Her experience includes emergency care and opthamology. She is also working on her degree specializing in dentistry. She is married and her children include 5 dogs, 3 cats, 2 saltwater aquariums, 1 freshwater aquarium and an African spur thighed tortoise. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving and powerlifting,


  This is Jill.  She began working at Stuart Animal Hospital in 2001. After a 2 year hiatus, she is back!  Jill is a certified veterinary technician and has worked in the veterinary field for 23 years.  She is married with one child (Shown above), and 1 cat.


  Judi is our newest addition to the front office staff.  She has been in the veterinary field for 23 years.  She has experience in all aspects of the veterinary hospital.  She is happily married with 2 sons, and 4 cats. She loves boating and anything to do with being outdoors!
